It has been far too long. To be honest I hemmed and hawed about how to put in this heater from Vintage Air. One is probably better off using the Factory Five heater because the cores are pointed in an easier direction to work with. Anyways, I finally decided to go with the Factory Five method of splitting the blower and core across the firewall. It took me about 5 or 6 days of cutting with the Dremel to make the hole because I used an extra thick firewall. Here is the hole:
